A mediesthetic is a specialist in medi aesthetic therapy, i.e., field cosmetic therapy of secondary skin problems, its pathological changes, and more complex skin conditions. A mediesthetic recognizes various secondary skin problems, understands their mechanisms of occurrence, and knows appropriate therapeutic approaches. In pathologically altered skin, a mediesthetic is focused on improving pathological changes and mechanisms of occurrence. With knowledge and appropriate selection of preventive, rehabilitative, and reversible mediaesthetic therapeutic approaches, a mediesthetic provides his clients with effective solutions and visible results. His professional decisions are based on objective scientific findings (EBC approach). He offers his clients professional treatment, independent of current brand trends.
